Fantastic Fiction at KGB is a monthly speculative-fiction reading series held every month at the KGB Bar in Manhattan. Hosted by by Ellen Datlow and Matthew Kressel, it’s also available as a podcast, and on YouTube.

The monthly series, which has been running since the late 1990s, serves as a salon, where writers, editors, agents, and fans of science fiction, fantasy, and horror can co-mingle in a shared event space. Admission is always free, but donations are much appreciated to keep this event going.

I’ve been attending as a fan for years, and it’s so thrilling to be able to grace its renowned podium for the first time. Also reading that night is the excellent Cadwell Turnbull, which makes it an even bigger thrill. Hope to see you then!
